Why Norway is cool for an explorer
I’m not sure why but I always had Norway in my mind as somewhere for people to go an relax, not explore. There is a website I have always used to find cool places to explore such as abandoned buildings or tunnels. Although it is fun to find things on your own(Like the drain below{No it is not hells gate for the 46735463 people who have asked})in cities nearby, however when travelling, we sometimes do not have the time to scour every inch of the city, looking for some forgotten part.
Recently I was bored and had some time on my hands, so I decided to look at every spot in every country that was worth exploring. About 5 hours in I noticed something. Of the 10 really cool mines not in the US, Norway contained 5 of them. These mines appear to be old mining towns that were left without the closing and implosions you normally see with old mines.
In addition to cool mine towns, Norway contains many really cool mountains, along with other natural beauties. For anyone who loves the outdoors Norway would be really cool to visit and explore. Not only can you just admire the beauty of Norway's famous cliffs but you can also climb them! Norway would be the perfect place for any advanced lead climber to climb. Norway is home to some of the worlds biggest cliff faces. If rock climbing is not your thing maybe you can get into Wing suiting!
I have yet to research anything related to cost, but I am assuming that it is not outragously expensive. If anyone has visited Norway PLEASE comment what you thought about it!
